Privacy Policy

This policy describes what the site does today. Features that are not yet enabled are marked as such; we will update this policy before enabling them.

Kitchen photos

The Photo Style & Budget Planner currently runs in mock mode and does not upload or store your photo. Any image you select is validated in your browser and never sent to our servers.

When live photo analysis is enabled, it will follow these rules:

  • Explicit consent is required before any upload.
  • Images are stored privately with signed, time-limited access — never in a public bucket.
  • Files are validated by content type and size; location metadata is stripped where feasible.
  • Default retention is short (24 hours unless you opt in to keep results), and failed uploads are cleaned up.
  • Images are never used to train models, never used for marketing, and never sent to analytics.
  • You can delete your image and results immediately.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled to understand aggregate usage (page views, tool starts and completions, outbound clicks). We never send images, image URLs, email addresses, raw household details, or dimensions tied to your identity. You can opt out with any standard analytics/cookie blocker; we do not sell data.

Advertising

Display ads are disabled in this build. When enabled, ads will be consent-aware and never load on legal, privacy, upload-processing, or authentication pages.
